Residenza Le Rose - Naples
The Residenza Le Rose in Via Discesa Gaiola 72 is situated at Cape Posillipo just a few footsteps from the Virgiliano Park which offers not only the most breathtaking views over the bays of Naples and of Pozzuoli, but also the most panoramic jogging ring of the world. Via Discesa Gaiola is also very close to the entrance of the "Archaeological and Naturalistic Park of Pausilipon and the Seiano Grotto", which connects the borrow of Bagnoli with the residence "d'otium" Pausilipon, once owned by Vetilio Pollione and by emperor Augustus. Walking down the step way of Discesa Gaiola you reach easily the submerged archaeological park of the Gaiola. Equipped with diving goggles you may explore the sea bed and detect the remains of what was once "Virgil's School" as you may also simply swim to the close-by beautiful little Gaiola island.
