Kamahi Cottage is situated on a typical New Zealand sheep and beef farm of over 1100 acres and farm tours in the comfort of a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle are available. The cottage is strategically located in the central North Island 15 minutes from Otorohanga, a small country town where all the essentials are available, and half an hour from the Waitomo Caves and Black Water Rafting adventures. The majestic West Coast, with its black iron sands, is an hour away, East Coast beaches can be reached within 2 hours, Auckland in 2½ hours and Lake Taupo in 1½ hours.
