Larrivee Homestay is a lovely two-storied octagon house built with local stone and imported cedar shakes. The stone and cedar cottage is quaint, comfortable and completely self-contained. Both are nestled in native bush bordering Mt. Aspiring National Park and are in a great area for outdoor activities (walking, jet boating, fishing, flying, bird watching). This is an ideal stop for people who enjoy the outdoors and like being "off the beaten track." We are happy to help with arranging activities. Especially worth doing locally is the Siberia Experience - a trip that includes a scenic flight into a remote mountain valley, a 3 hour bush walk, and a half hour jet boat trip. |
