There are five, individually decorated bedrooms at Hawthorne-four Queen and one King/Twin. Each bedroom has ensuite facilities and opens onto a private verandah. Embroidered cotton linens, plump feather duvets and fluffy towels.
Appropriately, the rooms are named after trees found in the garden "Hawthorne, Chestnut, Birch, Willow and Oak."
Hawthorne's 14 tranquil acres of pasture and garden provide a peaceful rural setting. The country garden is full of birdsong, shady trees and quiet corners. Croquet and Petanque for leisurely recreation. You could even help Susan feed the ducks or hens if you wish?
Six kilometers south of Hastings, Hawthorne is right in the heart of Hawke's Bay Wine Country. The renowned Gimblett Gravels region is a short drive to the west and the village of Havelock North a few minutes drive east. Napier and many other attractions are within a 30-minute drive
