Mountain Range is a ranch-style lodge set in beautiful open country near the shores of Lake Wanaka. It draws its name and inspiration from the breathtaking views that provide a unique backdrop for this beautiful retreat.
Positioned just a 2 minute drive from the Wanaka township and only 40 minutes from Queenstown, the lodge is set on over 10 acres of private parkland and is surrounded by landscaped gardens with native trees and plants. Most importantly, it enjoys uninterrupted mountain views - so you'll have a breathtaking view of one of the ranges, whichever room you're in.
From the outside, it feels like part of the landscape as it's built from local timbers and schist stone. Inside, it's a haven of luxury and comfort with wooden floors, exposed beams, and elegant furnishings in natural, warm colours and fabrics.
There are 7 ensuite guestrooms (4 queen, 2 twin/super-king and 1 king). Each is tastefully decorated, with wood furniture and imported linens. Bathrooms are well equipped with under tile heating, hair dryers, demist mirrors, power shower and corner spa bath in the king room.
Breakfast is a feast of fresh seasonal fruits, tea and coffee, fruit juice and a cooked option that changes daily.
You can sit by the fire in the cosy lounge, choose a DVD from our extensive collection, or retire to your private verandah with a complimentary glass of wine before dinner at one of the many local restaurants.

As we are a small boutique retreat, cancellations affect us greatly. Therefore we do have to apply cancellation charges as outlined below.
Please read this carefully as this affects all bookings.
A deposit of 25% of the total booking value is required to secure the reservation.
This deposit is refundable if the cancellation is made in writing, 30 days or more prior to arrival.
The deposit is non refundable if cancellation is made within 30 days prior to arrival. And if the cancellation is made within 7 days prior to arrival, we will charge the full cost of the total booking.
We will endeavour to resell the room(s) in question, and will refund all costs if successful.
Unfortunately, there can be no exceptions to this policy.
We advise you to ensure that you have adequate travel insurance to protect you against unforeseen changes to your travel plans. |
