Within 30 minutes of Auckland airport and the central city, the "Chalet In The Ferns" is a private self contained two bedroom guest cottage within walking distance of Titirangi Village. Guests enjoy the many nature trails throughout the nearby Waitakere Ranges, Auckland's coastal rainforest park, and the dramatic west coast surf beaches of Kare Kare and Piha. A generous supply of continental breakfast provisions are provided only on arrival date as additional groceries can be purchased at the nearby supermarket. The Chalet has a well equiped kitchenette with full cooking facilities, a fridge/freezer and its own laundry with washing machine and drier. The cosy lounge has temperature control heating, satellite TV,stereo and telephone. Other facilities include a superking bed in the loft bedroom, a double bed in the guest bedroom, underfloor heating in the luxurious bathroom which has both a spa bath and shower. A bifold window opens above the bath to the exotic rainforest garden and birdsong. Wireless broadband is available for your laptop. Minimum stay is five nights for advanced bookings or less subject to availability for 'last minute' bookings. The Chalet is not suitable for children under 7 years or toddlers, however a portacot is available for small babies.
