 The Lodge is located in the sleepy town of Mission Beach, in the heart of Queensland's Wet Tropics, where the rainforest meets the beach. The ensuite guest rooms are separate to the main house, each with its own verandah. The rooms overlook the jungle style pool with cascading waterfall, and also the lush tropical gardens. There is a daily visiting cassowary (accompanied by his chicks at certain times of the year), and also many other birds and butterflies associated with the region. The Lodge is ideal for that peaceful, tranquil holiday that you have always been promising yourself. Breakfast is served on the upper verandah, and all drinks (tea, coffee, soft drinks and BEER) are complimentary - how good is that !!
There is a large guest lounge with TV, DVD, loads of books and games and tour desk. For those wishing to self-cater, there is a microwave, hot plate and BBQ. For the more active there are a couple of bikes that you can borrow.
Plenty of stuff to do here including trips to the Reef, White Water Rafting, Sea Kayaking, SkyDiving, Fishing and some great Rainforest Walks. |
