Hidden away on a beautiful stretch of river at the headwaters of the Murrumbidgee in unspoilt alpine country. The Outpost Fly Fishing Lodge, on 1000 acres of mostly untouched Eucalyptus forest offers many walks where you can see kangaroos, wallabies, wambats, echidnas and many birds, or watch the Platypus feeding at dusk. Enjoy a swim in the river (anglers permitting) or a game of tennis. The recently completed cottage, available on a bed and breakfast basis is fully self contained with two bedrooms, a living room with a wood fire, well equipped kitchen and spacious verandah. Alternatively you may choose to spoil yourselves and stay fully catered in one of the three bedrooms with private bathrooms in the luxurious lodge, and try your hand at fly fishing while your gourmet meals are being prepared.
