Facilities:   Large, lovely, ensuite rooms with a microwave, fridge, jug, toaster, private coffee and tea making facilities. Guest lounge with a woodburner for a nice fire. Coffee and tea make facilities in room and in lounge.
Tariff - Single:   $ 70,=p.n.including ensuite bathroom and breakfast.
Tariff - Double:   NZ $ 90,-p.n. including ensuite bathroom and breakfast. 70,=p.n including ensuite bathroom but NO breakfast.
Tariff - Other:   Selfcatering $ 70,= for 1 or 2.
Dinner:   Their are several restaurants in this neighbourhood. Some are very reasonable priced others are more classy. The city has many restaurants to choose from.
Breakfast:   You can have your breakfast at a convenient time for you, its your holiday. We serve for breakfast; fresh fruit, preserved fruit, fruit juice, homemade yoghert, homemade jams, several cerials including muesli, a variaty of breads, milk, tea and fresh coffee.

We invite you to have a look at our B&B, we will do our best to meet all your needs. Away from the "hustle and bustle", close to the citycentre, in an easy to find street. THAT's US!
As travelling is rather wearing on your body and mind, your room is generous in size, has an ensuite(or guest shared) bathroom and -VERY IMPORTANT_ a comfortable bed. We hope you like the charm and feeling wood can bring into a house. We have used lots of native wood when creating our large home.


Furthermore you can expect to see several oilpaintings with NZ landscape. Gerda and Hans have enjoyed the privilege to live in New Zealand for almost 15 years and having guests is a little like family who have come to stay. Would you like full privacy and independence than we recommend our Holidayhome. This has 3 double bedrooms, is in perfect condition and has 2 living areas, a garden and offstreet parking. No breakfast included.

Rates are $ 85,= for 2 and $ 10 for each extra person. Minimal stay is 2 nights. We are ideally positioned in charming St. Martins, close to the city centre, to enjoy the convenience of the city and close to the tranquillity of the Port Hills. Our street is very quiet, treelined, close to the supermarket, petrolstation, bank, pharmacy, and busses. Christchurch is the largest city on the South Island and borders onto beautiful reserves like on the Port Hills (walking distance). Christchurch has several wonderfull beaches, gardens and parks. The museum, art and antartic centre need a visit.
From Christchurch you can do daytrips to Hamner, Kaikoura, Akoroa, and the Westcoast with the Transalpine Express. Christchurch is an ideal place for your holiday. We have a lounge available for B&B guest.On your request we can assist with doing your laundery. For free if you have a longer stay with us.




Canterbury Plains and the Southern Alps

Quality accommodation with a personal touch, sins 1991. Three km to city centre, in an easy to find, friendly, tree-lined street. Your large ensuite rooms are $ 90 with microwave, fridge and jug with polished wooden floors and decorated with N.Z paintings. A computer is available to keep in contact with friends and family. A self catering option is available in the apartment, sleeps 5 for $ 100,-/130,- Or the Studio with full kitchen sleeps 2 $ 70,- We have a cot available for our baby guests. A continental breakfast is served by your host Hans Van den Bos. Our children are 15(Ike) and 12(Frida) years old. DIRECTIONS; SH74 Barbadoes street, Waltham road, Wilsons road, Right into Gamblins road, first left is Ngaio street.
