10mins drive NE of Whangarei. 5.5 km after the Whangarei Falls turnoff on the road towards the Tutukaka Coast.

The hostshare bed and breakfast homestay is on a native forest wildlife protected property here in the Far North of New Zealand. Onsite interests include short guided treks on the property that show the varying range of flora, including a 400 year old (circa) kauri tree and many types of ferns. Seasonal native orchids abound and images from Te Ngahere Iti are currently being displayed on the NZ Native Orchids website.
