Our lovely garden is filled with roses, lavender, wisteria.. plus one of New Zealand's oldest pre-historic Cycad Revoluta palms graces the front garden.. a Notable Tree.
In the garden are many corners and courtyards either sunny or shady for you to relax in or you may prefer the guest sittingroom or spacious porches/verandahs and its fine to smoke there.
We serve wonderful breakfasts which include homemade bread, jams and marmalades and local fresh and homebottled fruits organic if possible.. if you are a muesli fan you'll love Lynne's homemade variety and our coffee has been noted in the Guestcomments as "the best in South Island" but you won't be forgotten if you like Tea as we have at least 10 varieties.
Breakfast at Grove Villa is often like a party with 10 or 12 guests swapping travel stories and relaxing. But if that's not for you, you may take breakfast in the courtyard or in your room.
