Leabrook LodgeLeabrook Lodge is a traditional B&B ideally located in one of Adelaide's most prestigious suburbs (east of Adelaide and near the foothills). The charming stone bungalow, with its period decor, provides guests with quiet accommodation in a restful atmosphere where they can stay and enjoy their visit. It is convenient for business people or travellers alike. It's easy to find whether coming by plane, train or car. All bedrooms have a garden view which includes huge gum trees that attract native birds; seating throughout the garden invites guests to locate a book from an extensive library and sit quietly outside. Breakfast is served in a courtyard when the weather is especially inviting, or there are log fires when the weather is chilly. There are five excellent restaurants 200m away and Norwood Parade which has restaurants 'cheek by jowl' is 1 1/2 km distant. A free dinner is available with family and friends on Wednesday nights. Bushwalks are close to the hills or for the less active, it is pleasant to walk through the nearby parks and gardens. The property is adjacent to the local bus and the availability of the Day Pass makes it easy to manage without a car and yet negotiate the city and environs without difficulty and one does not need to spend a great deal of money. And another bonus, guests are collected by tour operators who visit the wineries as well as Kangaroo Island. Traditional B&B is for the guest who prefers to have their breakfast prepared and someone who wants information which is geared to their precise needs. Laundry facilities are here for those that need them. Two short-haired Dachshunds in residence. Adelaide is the most centrally placed city, handy for Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock, Kangaroo Island as well as the Flinders Ranges. It is blessed with a Mediterranean climate, blue skies and lovely beaches. COME TO ADELAIDE COME TO LEABROOK LODGE B&B | |
