Domaine de Palatz is a restored old Bergerie(JUST 17KLM FROM CARCASSONNE AIRPORT) built around a centre U-shaped courtyard, consisting of main house for bed and breakfast, and three separate, spacious newly refurbished cottages it is a typical french estate surrounded by vineyards. All cottages are individually designed with modern facilities, yet retain their rustic character with thick stone walls and original beams. Come and enjoy bed and breakfast at the main house in a room with a view and in our main house, consisting of luxury accommodation - air conditioned bedroom with ensuite bathroom and direct access to the swimming pool, on the edge of the wine producing village - Laure Minervois, which has several caves and all other amenities, butchers, bakers, newsagents, doctor,etc.
Cottages can be let together or separately, where also breakfast can be provided for your comfort.
There is a swimming pool 12m x 6m, with underwater flood lights and it is totally enclosed for security, thus offering a sheltered haven for sunbathing, with a fully equipped pool house and terrace. There is a separate BBQ and dining tables, plus a large dining table to seat fourteen people for larger families. Surrounded by rockeries, in a mature garden, where you can admire stunning views of the Black Mountains, the Pyrenees and the fabulous sunsets, we know that your holiday at the Domaine de Palatz will be all that you envisaged.

La Maison des pins is an English family run bed and breakfast, set in a large typical french mansion, in the small sleepy village of Villegailhenc, which is ideally located just 5 minutes from the historical medieval "Cite" of Carcassonne, and 10 minutes from the airport. All our rooms have been beautifully restored and all have ensuite bathrooms, one bedroom has an adjoining children's room. There is a pretty garden to relax in with mature trees and both a large and small swimming pool, which is ideal for babies and small children.
Our village, Villegailhenc, offers numerous shops and a restaurant/bar. There is a butcher, newsagent, supermarket, bakers, local cave and two hairdressing salons and a daily bus service into Carcassonne, where bike hire available.

Welcome to Okalani Bed and Breakfast in South France
Okalani (hawaiian for "from heaven") chambres d'hotes is situated in the village of Burlats which is 8 kms from Castres, in the Southern Tarn, in South France. Our chambre d'hote sits on the bank of the River Agout within the Regional National Park of the Haut Languedoc in the South of France. We are a 50 minute drive from Carcassonne and an hour from Toulouse, both of which have daily flights from the UK.
We have a large garden which benefits from all day sunshine, but with large trees to give shade when needed. In the Southern Tarn the weather is warm and sunny in the summer with a cool breeze coming from the mountains.
Our chambres d'hotes has six bedrooms all of which are ensuite, and three of these can accommodate a family of five. All bed and breakfast rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and there are various other luxuries in each room.
Outdoor activities are abundant near Okalani, these include fishing, and cycling, walking, riding, kayaking/canoeing, skiing, but the magic of Okalani is just sitting on the terrace listening to the river running at the bottom of the garden and enjoying being in the beautiful French countryside.
Burlats is a small, medieval village at the foot of Mount Paradis that benefits both from being in Regional National Park and also only being a five minute drive from the busy town of Castres. Castres is a busy market town with good shopping and facilities.
