Wallingford LodgeOne of New Zealand's historic homes "Wallingford", built and owned by the Ormond family and purported to be the largest single storey dwelling in the southern hemisphere, accommodates both large and small groups in grand and luxurious surroundings. The "Wallingford Homestead" surrounded by sweeping lawns, rose gardens and English Oak trees, provides a setting for complete privacy and relaxation with the comfort, charm, hospitality and style that embodies dignified country living in the deeply rural surroundings of Central Hawke's Bay. For corporate functions, retreats, reunions, conferences, weddings and private functions Wallingford is an ideal secluded getaway, fully licensed and able to cater for small family groups or large corporate functions, conferences and weddings. The atmosphere is warmly inviting with large open log fires in winter and poolside barbeques in summer. The living areas cater comfortably for groups of 70 people and for large functions the extensive lawns accommodate marquees with ease.
