The majestic West Coast, with its black iron sands, is an hour away, East Coast beaches can be reached within 2 hours, Auckland in 2½ hours and Lake Taupo in 1½ hours.

Welcome to Jacaranda Cottage, our new architecturally designed home a few metres from the Sandspit estuary. The views are magnificent and so close that you will feel part of the panorama. Sandspit is 6km from Warkworth, a picturesque town, one hour north of Auckland. The local area provides opportunities for sightseeing and relaxation, including restaurants, vineyards, art galleries etc. We are a few minutes walk from the Sandspit wharf where boats leave for Kawau Island. There are bush walks and the swimming is great. We have a fully, self-contained unit with a Queen-sized bed. Our other rooms are a double bedroom and one with two single beds. We have a border collie dog, Jess. In front of our house is moored our catamaran. We will take you fishing or sightseeing by arrangement.

We are a 120 acre property on top of a hill, at Tyndale, Northern NSW on the Pacific Coast. This area is great for boating and fishing with a mutitude of lakes and rivers and the Pacific Ocean. Boatscan be hired at Yamba. 360 degree views over rivers and mountain ranges surround the property.
The accomodation consits of one octagonal, open plan sandstone cottage that is quality furnished with a leather lounge suite, dining table, queen size bed plus additional sofa bed. The property offers great bushwalking with a bit of climbing and its own rain forest. The beach is 15 minutes away.
